I'd imagine part of the reason growers make so many of these is because they do tend to be hardy. Getting this plant to perk back up didn't really take any more effort than I'd usually spend on a new plant, really- just water and a repot.
It hasn't dropped any flowers yet, so I think they're staying on. I'm happy about that, clearly. And I'm definitely looking forward to healthy growth+spikes, both for the appearance and for the sign of success. This one's gonna be gorgeous when it's nice and healthy.
