Black spots on leaf

I care too much! These are pictures of my boss' phal and I think it's fungal or bacterial infection. It was a gift from someone and it came from a flower shop. I keep watching it to see if it spreads. It looks about the same over a week. Thanks everyone

Are the spots spreading at all? Are they mushy, or dry? If it seems to continue spreading, the most efficient solution is probably to cut off that portion of leaf

Looks like pseudomonas, a bacterial infection, usually caused by warm-humid conditions. Can be deadly to phals. if it gets to the crown. Keep an eye on it as this can move quickly. You can use physan or hydrogen peroxide to treat it, or if it is not spreading and is drying out, leave it alone, increase air movement, and don't water from above (dunk pot in bucket of water) keeping leaves dry. The leaves will always have the black spots on them until they drop or you can cut them off back to healthy tissue. From your photos I would not worry much about the black spots in the first photo, but I would keep a close eye on the lighter brown mushy spots in the second photo, as these look active.

Well I have watched it for about a week and it didn't spread. I did notice that another leaf was yellowing and starting to spot. They weren't mushy but sunken in. I went ahead and cut both leaves off. He has lots of other plants besides more orchids that I was afraid might get infected also.

Yeah it really worries me so I cut it off. It is by a lot of other plants that I didn't want it to come in contact with.

Watch watering, this is how it moves from one plant to another, splashing water. Water by dunking the pot in bucket of water, letting it drain and keeping the leaves dry as possible. Increasing the air movement will help too.
