Default Odd growth on vanda

Anyone know what those white bits are?

Its fungi= mushroom like growth that has a symbiosis with the orchid plant. Notice that it also grows on the damp wood slat. No need to worry. But if there is a profusion of growth then you can just scrape it off.

It's either fungus like Bud said, or I've also seen the same thing turn out to be alien pods that copy your friends and family in a bid to take over the planet.
