Default Orchids in Thailand? (Hua Hin)

Does anyone know about a nursery or somewhere to buy orchids near Hua Hin? Legal, that means I need the papers to take them home. (Or babies, but I think they have that in the airport in Bangkok?)

Thanks

Tried to google, but it seems easier to ask-maybe someone knows

Are you already in Thailand? I would contact the Norwegian agriculture department and ask them.

Your laws will be different, but I will mention the US laws as an example. Bringing most orchids into the US usually requires three or four pieces of paper. Sometimes, though, fewer.

A US import permit is required for all plant material brought into the US. This is easy to get and free, but takes a little time.

Most plants and seeds require a phytosanitary certificate from the country of origin, but plants in flask do not require this. They are without infestations in flask.

For species orchids a CITES import permit issued by the US and an CITES export permit issued by the country of origin is required. CITES import and export permits are usually hard to get. CITES concerns species only, not hybrids (in most cases.) So when importing hybrid orchids you do not need to be concerned with CITES (most of the time.)

I think Norway is a signatory to the CITES treaty, so you would probably have to get both the CITES permits for species. I don't know what Norwegian plant import permits are required.
