Orchidarium Fogger Recommendations?
Hi and Thanks For Reading!
I am looking to add a fogger to my Orchid terrarium. I have no idea what people usually use to "Cloud" there Cloud Forest Terrarium? Please let me know what "Fogger" would fit best for my orchidarium....
I Have a 40 gallon flat back 1/2 hex tall. I hope to be able to have more then just one lonely phalaenopsis orchid in the future..... Its A Work In Progress....!

No suggestions, unfortunately, but I'm going to follow this thread closely as it couldn't have come at a better time. I was just starting to look into setting up a cooler growing tank for some little Pleurothallids

I don't know the brands, but if you do some searching on poison dart frogs and how people keep them, you will find foggers.

I know there are misters and foggers, but I want a fogger because a mister would over water....
I just don't know if a regular reptile ultrasonic fogger is ok for orchids? I was looking at the repti-fog one for around $65..... I hope to keep easy orchids mounted on wood.... currently I use a spray bottle....

Anything that puts water into the air will deposit water on surfaces. How much will depend on how long the device runs. I don't see how a fogger would be significantly different from a mister. What do you mean by saying a mister would overwater?

For humidity, what about a humidifier?

Take a look at Mist King. It is, indeed, a mister, not a fogger, but with a timer that can cycle it on for a matter of seconds, it can certainly do the job reliably.
Besides that, I'm not sure what you mean by overwatering. A mounted orchid simply cannot be overwatered, assuming you're maintaining proper air flow around the plant.

I have cork chunks, orchid bark and moss substrate in the bottom of my orchidarium. There is one orchid and a few bromeliads planted in the bottom..... I am afraid that a mister would accumulate too much water, also I have time to mist regularly with a spray bottle.... I am going to get a fogger for cloud like fog..... I just thought someone would have a recommended fogger that works well for orchids.... Sorry For Asking..... I seen orchidarium fog pipes before and just don't understand where the fog comes from......
