Terrestrial orchids have their own challenges. Some are very easy to grow, some are not.
Disa spp. may be available in South Africa, but they are not necessarily the easiest orchids to grow, especially if you have no prior experience to growing orchids with tuberous growths or any orchids with a dormancy. The
Disa spp. that have a dormancy each have their own habits of growing. It is not necessarily straightforward. These orchids also tend to go dormant like clockwork.
