Irregular fertilizing schedule = bad?

Interesting. Mine gets well wetted come summer, about 10 times a day. However they get nothing after about 6.00 and are always good and dry in the morning. Only a couple of the wets are with fertiliser, and then with weak KLite. I learnt the hard way that anything stronger if allowed to dry on the roots will burn them badly.

Since the roots are to big to soak I shroud them with Spanish moss so that they stay wet longer.
