Don't feel too insecure, just like all complex living organisms plants are very adaptable and there is not one perfect way to raise or keep them. Surely some environments are better than others, but every individual plant (even within the same species) is different as is every (green)house. If you can make a plant happy, do what works for you. It's simple as that.
I would also love to see some pictures, from what I've seen online of this orchid it is very photogenic  |

Apologies for the delay - I kept forgetting to upload photos. This was taken on New Year's Eve. From memory, I think the previous blooming had more flowers per spray but they were smaller? Blooming has been a bit patchy - I'm thinking maybe I didn't turn the plant enough to get even light distribution, since it seems to be an equal number of old and new canes that didn't flower. But I'm still happy with it for a first rebloom attempt.

I do my photos the old fashioned way - camera and then upload to the laptop. I was offered an upgrade to a smart phone but it was waaaaaay too complicated for me!

The photo uploading here switches lots of photos to landscape orientation. One cure is to open the photo in a pboto editing program, rotate the photo 90 degrees, save, close the file, open it again, rotate to proper orientation, save. It should upload properly.

REsponse to growing Den Berry 'Oda' like Den nobile... not quite. Den-phal is closer... it is half Den kingianum (cold-tolerant) and the other half is Den bigibbum + Den canaliculatum (warm growers) Having killed one outside, I think the warm side dominates. And none of these need a winter rest. (Some people do dry out kingianum but I have found that unnecessary)
So just grow like Den-phal and it should be happy - bright, warm-ish, no winter rest, damp but well drained.
