Oncidium lanceanum hard linear spot on leaf

I just received this plant in the mail and noticed this strange callus on the leaf. I don't believe it's a scale bug; however, I'm open to suggestions of what it may be or how to treat it. Thank you!

Looks like old physical damage to me. I don't think it's anything to worry about.

I'm not sure the freckling is normal though but I'm not familiar with this species.

I have that same plant. It looks like physical damage to me. If it were mine, I wouldn't worry.
