No, I don't.. How would I go about determining that?? I can tell you that we keep our house cooled at about 73 during the day and 72 at night.

The best way is to get one of these devices. They are cheap and serves the purpose.
There are lots of brands with different combinations and prices in a wide range.

That a new root is growing is quite a good thing! A sign of life!

I would hold off on fertilizing, at least for a bit. Orchids have extremely love fertilizer needs. Once you see positive growth you can begin fertilizer.
