I've never found these bag babies at any of our stores. They have the potted Phals, nothing else. I would have had a hard time passing these, or some of them up. Your friends plants look very nice indeed!
On second thought, it's probably best I don't have access to these.

I actually went to my local Lowe's to look for them. Nope. Same thing as always, a few sad Phals.

Just a heads up to anyone convenient to the Philadelphia area. The Lowe's in Conshohocken had a very good selection a couple days ago

That is a great selection!
I just found that my local Lowes had a new shipment and I picked up a couple. I should have gotten a few more.

Same here. I checked Home Depot, too. I'm thinking that when they get the interesting ones in, they go pretty quickly, so unless you visit the stores several times a week, they would be easy to miss.

I asked at the Lowe's, and the garden center associate looked at me like I had lost my mind for thinking there should be orchids other than the Phals anywhere.

Only one of the area Lowes has the Bag Babies. The larger store does not. I returned today and bought yet another but most of them are already gone. Wow, they went fast! Of course, I am happy about that as it means that there are other orchid people in the area. The more the merrier!
