You're welcome. I'm hot and dry. There are Orchid Board members in south Texas who can better advise as to hot and humid. They should be by shortly.
There are plenty of warm-growing orchids. Some need bright light year round, and some need shade year round. Some need warm temperatures all year, and some are OK with cooler winter temperatures.
Limiting factors for most people are winter warmth and light, and summer cooling.
If you have to bring everything indoors for the winter, and you have limited window space, you're going to wind up with using lights indoors. There is an enormous amount of information about this in a separate
Growing Under Lights forum here. If I were starting out I would go straight to LEDs and skip the older alternatives.
What is it like outside in the summer? How hot? Do you have a patio or trees under which you can shade outdoor orchids during the summer?
If you want Draculas you either need to convert a wine cooler or move to far north Yankeelandia:

So do some thinking about what conditions (temperature, light, humidity) you can provide winter and summer, how much indoor space you have in the winter, and whether you are willing to buy some lights.
Oh... and start collecting rain for your orchids. It will probably be better than tap water.
