A database can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be. Kind of a fun pastime when the weather makes it inhospitable to be out with the plants! It also is a way to l let you know if you already have a plant when you go to a show. Then you can save your money for a different plant! Same data lets you know how many divisions you have of a plant and can make a trade if you want to for another plant.
Just speaking from my own experience, I was a computer idiot years ago and actually learned the computer with my database! I figured I could make mistakes and it would only affect me. All you need is an incentive to start.
