Your last post confirms to me that it is not getting enough water.

Perfect! Can you tell what the bark is that is mixed in? The adjuvant to the perlite?

Usually the bark is fir or pine. Both are sold in different sizes.

It looks to be medium bark. If you can find Better Grow at Lowe's that will work fine.

I never like to see roots twisted into a tight rootball. My advice would be pot it in fine bark only, in a pot no deeper than 4 inches, but 4 times the size/ area.

Of course my personal fave would be to shove it onto a mount tooty sweety, but I realise that's not to everyone's taste.

I would love to learn how to mount! In my former life, I was an evolutionary biologist and originally fell in love with orchids the first time I saw the Darwin Orchid on display at the Cleveland botanical garden show in 2009. And the epiphytes holding on to their life partners even more passionately than new lovers. Someday I hope to become this kind of matchmaker, but I am sort of floundering for now.

Bil - tooty sweety = toute de suite? I did not know you spoke my cultivar of franglais!
