New growth on my first dendrobium

I'm basically just celebrating the new growth on my first dendrobium. I didn't see it when I first got it in early February and decided to remount it to get it off the cedar shingle. (My brother who takes care of my stuff when I am out of town is allergic to cedar, so I couldn't leave it on the cedar.)

It must like hanging on the edge of the sofa table.

Nice. I do think des do better on mounts, all things being equal. The fast drying seems to really drive root growth.

My favourites are branch mounts as they look that bit more natural.
