Don't forget the:
Stanhopea Florida Gongora Scaphyphorus Maxillaria Rufescens Epidendrum Nocturnum |
Neofinetia Lou Sneary has several beautiful, highly fragrant clones. My favorite is 'Blue Moon', even though I havn't seen it in person and can't find it anywhere.
Also: Bulbophyllum ambrosia: honey, almost too sweet Lycaste aromatica: cinnamon Oncidium ornithorhynchum: complex sweetness, overall effect is brown sugar  Phalaenopsis mannii: mandarin oranges Trichoglottis philippinensis: ripe or baked apple Maybe a little redundant, but I'm also putting in my vote for Onc. Twinkle and Max. tenuifolia...now to figure out how to put the lime in the coconut (orchid)... |
Bulbophyllum trigonosepalum
(doggy doo) Boy does this one have a scent. smells just like dog doo. Its one of my favorite's |
i just found a new oncidium called heaven scent 'sweet baby' and it is heavier scented than sharry baby....and just as sweet....its a wonderful onc.

Wow
I just brought a zyglopetalum the other week. Joan x |
Glad this thread was resurrected! My newest "go-to" frangrant orchid I use to compare all others (including Encylia tampensis) is Cischweinfia sheehanae. It is so "heady" a scent that all others pale to me. This plant will fill a room quickly with a strong flowery scent - very pleasant. http://www.orchidboard.com/community...bs/DSC2988.jpg
