Lovely, just lovely. I wish I could do some mounting but not for me, way to dry here.

I'm lazy also there are times I just can't water them every day. And I have enough that need to be watered every day. They suffer when I don't get to them.

Yeah, that is one of the few advantages to being retired.

You need to learn to propagate that white mini Phal from flower stem cuttings. A beautiful flower like that in a smallish plant that blooms 10 months a year should be passed around.

I am in a somewhat odd position here. Apart from this board, one guy on facebook in the US and a dealer in Belgium, I have literally no one to talk to or discuss orchids with on anything approaching a serious level.

The whole orchid market within a 100 miles is solely the 'Buy to die' market, dominated by normal phals. To see anything beyond the odd oncidium, den phal and cymbidium is incredibly rare, and anything out of the norm is in itself repetative. I have one shop that actually has had two paphs, but it's always the same two.

So, even if I did, who would be interested?

Is there a Spanish or Portuguese orchid society? Others in Europe, within the free trade zone? Have you written privately to other Orchid Board members near you? I see at least several posting from Spain and Portugal.
