Problem with Oncidium twinkle
Default Problem with Oncidium twinkle

I have bought an Oncidium twinkle about 2.5 months ago. It was apparently potted in bark. I watered it every 5 days when I saw the bark was dry. About a month ago, I discovered 2 snales at the base of a pseudobulb. I took the plant back to the shop for repotting. I didn't water it for a week and then started watering it again. A top leaf turned yellow (2 side leaves had turned yellow before repotting) gradually and finally fell off. The pseudobulb where it grown from started turning yellow these days but not mushy. In the second unpot, I found a rootball with sphagum moss in between and removed it. The twinkle never produces new shoot. Would you please let me have some recommendations? Thanks!

It may not ready to start new growth.

Here's a thread about using a skewer to help determine when to water Using skewers to determine when to water

I haven't done well with Onc. Twinkle, so hopefully some other members have some suggestions.
