It most likely depends on which hybrid it is as the ancestry plays a role. Some in the Cattleya family need more air to the roots, more light, others less. Typically, a Potinara will need more light and a faster-draining medium than a Phal.

Most Potinaras need more light than most Phals to flower. Potinara is a human-made hybrid genus involving genera Cattleya, Brassavola, Laelia and Sophronitis. They are in the Cattleya group of orchids and take general Cattleya care. You can read threads dealing with Cattleyas here.
