I got this little beauty as a Valentine's day gift! Tag says Bllra. Tropic Lily 'Hilo Space Ship'

The pot has live moss all over it from the greenhouse so I have no way of knowing what sort of medium it's currently in.

Can I grow it with my phals?

I have one I grow with my oncidiums. Seems to be flourishing. Intermediate temps, bright light, water 2x a week or so.

I was hoping I could put it with all my other orchids in the north window.

Im not thinking longterm since I'm moving at some point this spring, so wherever I put it is not a permanent spot.

Wasn't it you who had the very bright north window? Try it. My oncidiums did well with my Phals in that same situation.

You'll know quickly if she struggles and you can add an inexpensive clip on light if need be.

I bet it will be fine there. I suspect the medium is very thick chunk bark, with moss growing on top of it. I have seen a lot of plants grown like this. The grower's greenhouse must have been very humid. The large chunk bark allows watering every day.

I do have a few lamps with clips that I used to use, before I realized they weren't needed.

Also I just took it out of the bag and looked through the holes in the pot. It is grown in sphagnum and seems sopping wet.
