Lc. (or just C. now) Bryan Wheeler 'Grandson' AM/AOS is a very typical full sized Cattleya hybrid, needing typical care for the type - tolerating a broad intermediate range of temperatures (days 70F to 90F+, nights 55F to 70F), bright light 3000 fc, 50% or higher humidity ideal, well drained media that dries between watering, regular fertilizer, and does not require winter rest. Large lavender flowers, darker lip with yellow "eyes", can bloom anytime but spring-summer probably most likely.

Fortunately your plant is an easy one to provide help for. I often wonder why people buy orchids about which they know nothing, and only later ask for how to keep it alive. It's a good example of putting the cart before the horse.

Nope. Pretty much steady as she goes. I think Catts use photoperiod more to 'determine' when to bloom. Yours looks big enough and should bloom on the new growth if it's happy/getting enough light.
I find Catt hybrids about the toughest, hardiest of orchids in my conditions. Very temperature tolerant and love the light.

Most Catts in the ancestry of this type get almost no seasonal temperature variation. Some don't get much daylength variation near the equator either. And since the various species bloom in different seasons any seasonal cues are mixed up anyway. Keep this one happy and growing and most new growths will flower at maturity regardless of season.

Meh, impulse buys. If I were in a big orchid sale, I would probably do the same, unless you broke both my arms...
