Should I Cut The Spike?

Good morning I have a question, I have a Cattleya Volcano Trick 'Volcano Queen', it has bloomed amnd dropped all it's flowers about 2 weeks ago. Now I usually wait for the spike of a plant to start turning brown before cutting it. This spike is still green and it doesn't look like it is going to turn brown any time soon. My question is should I cut it or should wait to is if anything happens? I wood appreciate some feedback, waiting for some answers, thank all of in advance. I'm no expert but I think Catts don't bloom from old spikes so it will be dead anytime sonn, I think.
Anyway, it is green to at least it is helping the plant with photosynthesis.

I don't think there is much chance of re-bloom potential, but there is never any reason to cut a spike before it dies on its own except your own preference. Might as well leave it.

It's your choice. Catts aren't going to rebloom from a spent spike, but there's no harm to the plant if you leave it.

It's a beautiful flower! If that spike is still giving its strength back to the plant, I'd leave it, although I've been known to cut a spike when the plant is unbalanced. As said above, up to you.

Don't cut off the bulb and the leaf, but there are basically two choices. Cut the old spike off close to the leaf while green, and then dust the cut with cinnamon powder or a fungicide powder, or else just wait till it turns brown and cut it then.

I'd like to thank all of you who answered my question so quickly, I am going to let the spike die/brown on it's own then cut it. Just like the flower does in Nature. Thanks again....Zoren.. P.S. went to Boca Raton Orchid Show today, bought 3 plants two Phrags and one Paph (will show ASAP). I will probably go back tomorrow and see if I can get a sequential Phal or may be something new. Adding to my collect in 'leaps and bounds', my wife is Ok with the purchases (costs) at this time, but, lets see how long it takes her to say 'don't you think you have spent enough money' Ha!Ha..etc....Zoren ..!!
