Default Suggestions for beginner interm-warm minis?

Related to a recent thread of mine re: set-ups in small apartments, minis seem to perhaps be a way to go (and they're so cool too!) Only thing is they seem to favor cooler temps and ultra-hi humidity. So, any suggestions?

Phalaenopsis Mini-Mark. Mine is in-bloom (2 spikes) with a 4" total leaf span.

:iagree: with Ray. Way cool plant. Another might be Sedira japonica. There are a few small growing Paphs as well like Paph gratrixianum x barbigerum.

Hi Yvan, I have a terrarium just for interm-warm minis so I'll recommend some good ones for you.
Dendrobium rigidum-warm, bright light, fragrent
Dendrobium toressae-warm, light shade, very small!!
Leptotes unicolor-warm, bright light, fragrent
Pleurothallis brighamii-warm, light shade,
Trisetella dressleri-cool-interm. light shade
Masdevallia 'Maui Jewel'-interm., light shade
Sigmatostalix graminea-cool-hot, bright light
These are doing the best in my terrarium but I do have more. There are many interm-warm growing minis out there.

Those are all great choices! I would add that I LOVE my little Haraella odorata. . .it's nearly constantly in bloom.

Have fun and shop at Andy's Orchids. . .he has a search engine that you can use to find the just right orchids for your space. . .check out the miniatures.

Here's a link

This is grrreat! I'd love to hear people's favorites that are fairly small plants, but maybe wouldn't classify as miniature too.

That Phal. Mini-mark is really hot.
