It's not in terrible condition, so you should be able to get it going again. To the above I would add to keep it warmer rather than cooler. You're not going to heat your house to 80 F all winter, but the plant would like it.

Ask 10 different people and get 12 different answers. I break or cut the long stem off just where the rotten roots start. Then pot on as most have suggested.

For all info on Phals, check the stickie at the top of this forum on "The Phal Abuse Ends Here". You should be able to find answers to just about any question you may have. Good luck.
