Difference in propagating Den Nobiles..
Default Difference in propagating Den Nobiles..

These are to show the difference between propagating Den nobile through either cutting off a single keiki, or removing the whole cane with keikis attached. The latter is definitely the way to go! You can see one pic is of a single keiki that was severed from its parent cane and potted up 7 months ago. There has been hardly any root growth worth a damn.
Now compare that to the other two which are den nobile canes with the keikis attached, mounted onto branch mounts with sphag moss. The one with the most roots showing has been on there about two months, the second just a month,
Impressive difference, eh?
