Miniature and Fragrant Orchid Suggestion
So my number one goal right now with my orchid collection is to fit as many fragrant orchids as possible in my apartment. I was SUPER delighted to receive two Angraecums and an Aerangis fastuosa in the mail! They are so tiny! So it got me thinking...if I focus more on mini orchids that are fragrant I would be able to get a wider variety of fragrances!
So what are some of your favorite fragrant small to micro orchids?

I'm brassovola gal. I consider brassovola nodosa small, do you? Seems to have leaves about 6 inches tall. Best smelling orchid in the world, IMHO.

I'd say that counts as small. Really I'd love to hear about anything smallish to super tiny and yes, AMAZING fragrance! I recently repotted mine, so I wasn't expecting any spikes any time soon...I went to water it while I was having a bad day, and found a spike!! It totally turned my day around. I don't know what I would do without orchids in my life.

Oncidium twinkle has a nice vanilla fragrance (reminds me of oreos). It's unexpectedly small for an oncidium, and would fall in the category of small. Also certain sedirea japonica are pretty small growing, but can be hard to find the smaller ones. They smell quite amazing

Most of my selections were not miniature, just small. Opps.

Quite possibly right - B. nodosa has a delightful fragrance that can fill a room. It's a plant that I think belongs in every collection.
If you want REALLY small, take a serious look at the true miniature Haraella odorata. It looks like a mini-Phal with a leaf span of under 2". The flower looks like someone crossed a mini-Phal with Gene Simmons' tongue. The fragrance is somewhat lemony (despite the name), though you have to get pretty close to smell it.
As an aside, you can do a search on Andy's that lets you focus on minis and fragrance.

Phal japonica is a miniature plant with a scent almost like lemon/citronella and is quite gorgeous.

Dendrobiums aberrans is tiny, about 2-3 inches in height and has small, white fragrant flowers.

Osmoglossum pulchellum is super fragrant, will bloom on small plants.
