New buds at the end if existing spike
Default New buds at the end the existing spike, what should I do?

Hello,

I'm new here and nice to meet everyone!
I noticed my phal orchid is producing new buds at the end of my existing spike and don't know what to do with it.
Should I cut the spike and hope my orchid will spend her energy to push a new spike out or just leave it as is?
Thank you.

If the plant is healthy (plenty of firm leaves and roots, no odd spots/colors), I'd leave it as is. Phalaenopsis hybrids (depending on genetic background) often branch their spikes so this isn't indicative of something odd.

Welcome to the orchid board, I would follow the advice already given.
