Default Zygo Advance Austrailia Growth - Spike or Pbulb?

My first zygopetalum! I purchased when in bloom during March, after blooms died off, I saw plenty of new growth over the summer. Now, I see more growth - any chance it could be a spike? Also, any telltale signs for differentiating between a spike and pseudobulb on zygos?

I've never grown one, but it looks too cylindric to be a new growth. Also a lot of these flower from developing growths.

It looks like a spike. As estacion_seca said they bloom from developing growths. New grows are normally fatter and "arrow-head" shaped.

This appears to be growth. The spikes will come from under the first of the new leaves as the new growth elongates and matures.

There had been a leaf there, but I had pulled it off due to going brown. So maybe there's hope?

That was my thought, as this (potential) spike is originating from a pbulb that grew this summer. I remember the bulbs being fatter, also not protruding from new growth, but coming up from underneath? Guess I'll find out soon enough - though it's hard being patient sometimes!
