I am new to plant growing and fascinated by all of this! I was thinking of submerging the brown part of the base root. (Mainly because I am new and would like to see its roots groath)
I was also thinking of how to keep the water warm but I live in a small apartment with the wall heating unit always on (I like my house really warm all the time) so I was hoping it would be okay for now. I read that providing extra warmth with heating pads are great and can imitate spring/summer) and I am possibly thinking of making a automated heating unit for one of my future hobby projects.
