Wow, that's pretty cool. Just what I need, if I had the space.

I'm really thinking about building something like this in my back yard, but I'm worried it'll get too hot in summer. Memphis temps in June through August can easily reach high 90s and into 100s. Then it's inside of a greenhouse, I'm afraid they'll die. Danielparry, if you live in a cooler area, I wish you the best of luck!

I say get a little AC in, but then you can't use sheets, need something with more insulation. THen you have to add a humidifier.

For temperature control during Summer, you could add fans and to get more air and moisture to circulate inside the enclosure. My local botanic garden has a tropical plant section and it has no AC..during Summer time. It got fans and a lot of open windows and plenty of moisture.
For the sheeting, I would use something with UV protection for sure. For Winter, you can purchase one of those heater fan if the temperature does drop too significantly.
