My vanilla cutting tip came bruised
Default My vanilla cutting tip came bruised

I just received my vanilla vine cutting, came in a zip lock bag. It looks really good, as I finally got around to potting her up...I noticed that the tip not root part came in a but bruised or maybe something else? But I leaning towards just man handled. Should I just cut that tiny bit off? Will she grow? Or should I just leave it alone? Pls help.

Yes, probably shipping damage. Some would leave it alone if your humidity isn't too high. Some would cut it off to prevent rot starting and spreading to the rest of the plant.
