Ok, ok the joke is on me.
But this plant is having one or two leaves a day turn yellow-brown and one dropped off on Saturday.

Yes...but around here tbe problems outweigh the benefits. Plus, these are not nice American lady beetles. They stink and nip and somehow find their stinky way into every crack. Yuk!!!!😨 |

Did you say what the name of this is (tl;dr)?
There are people here who can look at a plant and tell if it is deciduous or not. I'm not one of them. I don't grow but a few Dends and I grow them pretty much the same (knowing one is definitely deciduous and the others are not).
Have you looked into the parentage? Could the leaf drop be normal?

Don't know if it's deciduous or not.
But it is fading fast.

The lady beetle might have detected some food (pest insects), check you plant again with some magnifying glass if you have it.

It's dropping leaves because it's in a new environment. It probably is now experiencing lower humidity, and is in a less water-retentive medium than before. Roots were probably damaged during unpotting and shipment. They drop leaves when underwatered. Even so, they should not stay wet. In that large bark you can probably water again as soon as the roots are dry.
Your plant overall looks still healthy. My Aussie dens are beginning new growth now, but they are still very warm and bright.
