Deformed paph bud?

Hello everyone, first off here is the picture:

This is a paph delenatii bud I have been waiting on for about a month and I thought it looked strange. I'm very inexperienced when it comes to paphs so could someone with more experience say what they think? I'm put off by the Dorsal petal and the lacking of other flower bud parts. What do you guys think? Or is it normal?

The picture doesn't show the flower well enough to know how deformed it may be or what parts are missing. A normal front view of the flower may be more helpful.

There's no need to apologize. It clearly is at a difficult stage to get a good photo to show what might be very easily seen in person.

If it is going to open completely it should be progressing soon. Sometimes weak flowers don't. It still isn't clear what the problem(s) may be. Deformities can be genetic, or random, or due to a plant that just isn't quite ready, or insect damage or from any kind of stress at a critical time. If it continues to open it may become clear, or if necessary you can gently open it by hand to get clearer pics once it is clear it won't progress on its own.

Thank you! It actually appears to be opening a little this morning, so if it does, it might in a few days.
