Eulophia petersii has 2-5 leaves pereach pseudo bulbs. They are cylindrical and with some marks from up to bottom. Quite particular look.

You haven't commented on my suggestion of Catasetum. From your description I think I may remember the same photo, but I didn't even look closely at the plants. I usually pass over growing area photos rather quickly.
