Ok when I go to do this I ended up bending back and splitting a small bottom leaf on the plant.
I placed it back in it's place and sprinkled cinnamon on the split part.
any chance it will be ok? should I have cut off this bent tip?

Some people wipe and shine leaves. I'm too clumsy. I would break leaves. I use a spray bottle and pure water to rinse off dust.

When I break a leaf I just leave it alone. It dries by itself. But then I don't have 90% relative humidity.
