I have owned these Dendros for 1 1/2 months and they are starting to change! I'm excited because that means I have kept them alive and they are thriving (I hope).
So, can anyone tell me what this is in the cane with no leaves. Is it a spike?
and what this is on a different plant? Is it a Keiki? Again, the cane has no leaves.
In picture #1 the growths from the bottom are the new cane growths for this year that will eventually mature and bloom.
In picture #2 it's kind of hard to tell what that is. It looks like it might be vegetative growth and if so would be a Keiki. Any chance of a closer shot?
#2 doesn't look like any dendro bud I've ever seen before. I realize you have a different group dendro than what I grow, but buds come out looking like mini flowers, just not open. Vegetative growths look like what you showed us. I'll post a pic tomorrow to this post of what they look like cause I have a bunch.

It has begun to show signs of roots. How long do the roots have to be before I remove it? And after I do remove it, how do I treat it? Do I put it in a 2" pot and if so, what type of medium should I place it in. Thanks!
