Default Phal - Leaf pigmentation? Or disease?

Never saw this before. Not sure if it's normal...this is a new leaf.
What do you think?

Thanks

I think the leaf markings are normal for your plant, especially since the flower seems to have strong influence of Phal stuartiana or Phal schilleriana. Environmental conditions or just being a new leaf could be enhancing it, but I see a hint of the same pattern in the older leaves too.

I also thought it might be genetic. This is the first new leaf under my care so.. it's better to ask.
Thanks
