overnight mold! yikes!!

Hi...Am hoping someone has some suggestions or advice for me. Woke up this morning, checked the chids out, and noticed that three of my pots had grown white fuzz!! Not just on two little terra cotta pots, but also one plastic pot!

Also, while the mold on the terra cotta pots seems to just be on the pot surface itself, there is definitely some of the mold in the top of the bark in the plastic pot.

This mold infestation literally seems to have happened overnight, as I didn't see any of it yesterday. What can I do?? Is a Physan 20 treatment the way to go?

I use Physan 20 on my orchids and it does not hurt them. I would think it would help for this fungus as well. If you have Physan 20 I would go ahead and treat them. But it also sounds like you don't have enough air movement around your orchids. Where do you grow your orchids? I keep the cealing fan on 24x7 in the room where I grow. What kind of orchids are you growing?

Physan will do the trick. Try 0.5 - 1 tsp/gallon as a drench.

I don't think the sudden onset of mold has much to do with the air movement...probably more to do with these little bamboo rafts I got recently to stand the pots on. On further inspection, it looks like the bamboo was not liking the constant moisture. (Got rid of 'em.)

But I'll keep an eye on how they're doing, and if it looks like this is a repeat event, I will add another lil fan to the area.
