Can you help me find out whats wrong with the plant
Hi everyone reading this!
I bought a flowering orchid about two uears ago from a super market. After the first bloom the plant grew but hasn't flowered again. It has since developped a sort of white specs on the leafs, black dots on the edges and sort of decay at the base. It has been repotted. A new ofshoot developped about a week ago and already its getting tge sort of decay on roots. Can you please help me find out what is wrong with my plant. Thank you very much!

Can't say for sure, but the spotting is reminiscent of mite damage.

First, Welcome to the Orchid Board!
Spider mites feed on the leaves. If you search this board for "spider mite" you will find a lot of information.
This looks like an Oncidium hybrid. It is unusual for the roots to rot unless they are kept too wet, or the plant becomes too hot.
Treat the plant for spider mites. You can use 15ml of liquid dish soap in a liter of water, and spray that on the leaves.
Water the plant when it is almost dry.

Mite infestations are best treated with acaricides. I know, it is better to use eco friendly stuff, but so many pests laugh at them.

I've read somewhere that consistent showering of the plants is a good control method.
