Vanda flower spike
Hi all! Back again after lurking around. I have learned a lot and consider myself a lucky beginner - have been able to get two of my phals to rebloom and all my other orchids have great growth going on.
Until today. My vanda (no ID) has a flower spike about 5-6 inches long with two buds and still developing. Went to do its daily soaking today when PLOP! It fell over while soaking and snapped the spike!!! I could cry right now. Is there any saving it? Magic voodoo? Do they side spike like phals?
It's so ironic because I soak it the same way every day yet this one time, with a spike as well, it decides to commit suicide on me.
So angry right now... Thanks all.

Sorry. You could teach it a lesson by getting another one, so it has to share your attention.
