Hi everyone!
Just out of curiosity, how far in between avg. should new leaves grow? Just a month and a half ago my phalaenopsis started growing a new leave and now she's sending out a new one. Any reason she would be doing that so fast?
Thanks if any of you give your time to answer my curious concern.

It is normal for Phals to begin growing new leaves before the previous leaves are mature.
Oh that's good to know!... I thought they would normally grow a bit mature before growing a new one. Tried to look up online but couldn't find anything.
A great deal of that depends upon your culture. Under ideal conditions, continuous growth is the norm, with maybe a pause when the energies are directed toward developing an inflorescence.
My phals, always after blooming, develop two leaves, not simultaneously, but when the first has almost finished its growing, the second one emerges.
Then stops until it blooms again, and the cycle repeats.

That's great to know! I guess she's not doing bad in my conditions. I've only been into orchids for two months. Thanks for that info! Learning little by little.
