It needs a lot more light than you're giving it. It is a high-light plant, not a deep shade plant. No shadow means deep shade.

Ok, I put it back in bark and moved it closer to light. And keeping my fingers crossed. Thanks everyone.
I feel like buying another just in case. I REALLY want that little octopus orchid.
So many orchids, so little space.
