Mini Phal Leaves Turning Shade of Purple
Default Mini Phal Leaves Turning Shade of Purple

Hi all,
I'm attaching a picture of a leaf from one of my mini-Phals. Is this normal? Seems like the edges are gradually turning deep purple or maybe dark, dark green (you may have to zoom in a bit). The overall plant is doing really well, green roots, a few aerials, it's currently in bloom with one flower spike.

Usually when a phal leaf goes purple it means it is getting too much light.

Yes I would say the same thing. Also I have one that is just that way, the leaves are a darker color and I think it is because it is a dark purple flower.

I would add that there's a big chance the flowers have red or purple in them.
Do you know how the flower is?

I have several of the so-called mini phals...not so mini anymore...in particular, several Phal. Pink Girl that have very dark leaves and small lavendar flowers (quite fragrant!) and that's just their coloring. Mine get minimal sunlight and they're just that way.
Post a pic of the flower! I'd love to see it.
