When does this orchid flower? Male
Default When does this orchid flower?

I bought a cute and small Cycnodes 'Wine delight' with a microscopic pseudobulb, a 1-inch bulb from last year, and this year's pseudobulb that is so far around 3-4 inches tall not counting leaves. Could it flower this year? That would be very exciting!

Depending on your culture, it will most likely be a year and a half. I know it's probably not what you want to hear, and I hope I'm wrong, just trying to level with you. Stick it out! They're beautiful flowers with wonderful fragrance. Fertilize the hell out of it. Give it as much sun and water as possible when in active growth. Cattleya light or stronger.

I don't mind! The foliage itself is very nice. Thank you for answering my question .
