I have used similar products, they do stimulate node growth if used properly. This specific product I have not used but it seems to be well rated. $10.99 on Amazon.
I have used this paste as wound care for phals where I broke off blooming tips on spikes and it has worked to generate more blooms. I am testing it on an Onc Sharry Baby spike that I had to free from the Pbulb sheath. I have not been successful generating keikis.
Information on best practices to follow for keiki production seems to be scarce.
I have been advised to:
Treat nodes only on Phalaenopsis flower stems that are finished blooming and which are not producing secondary flower spikes (unless you just want to create more flower spikes)
Treat nodes on the lower half of the flower spike stem only (better chance of keiki production)
Plant should be in good health
Plant should be kept in dimmer light than usual while undergoing treatment to make keikis
There is also a thread where another member applied KeikiPro but kept re-applying (please don't do this). In the case of KeikiPro, or any other such type paste or liguid, less is more. You only need a tiny bit for it to work. What strange growth did Keiko Power Pro Create?
Re-application never seems to be necessary when applying to nodes on Phal stems.
When I have applied keiki paste, it is always the smallest amount possible - no more than a pinhead-sized amount per node. That always seems to work if the node is viable.
