I visited that lovely lady from Thailand that grows orchids as a hobby...few days ago.
I was just looking around (dangerous for me, and others). She's the one I got the Monkey Cups plant from.
Of course I brought home some orchids, too.

She told me this was an Oncidium.
Once it blooms maybe I can get a better ID on. When it flowers I'll open another post in the Oncidium forum.

The flower stalk (only) is (amazingly, to me) presently 51 inches (130cm) tall and there are 17 side shoots, with more promised, where the flowers will form/bloom.

Only one pic right now. I'm going to have to re-pot it cause it's too tall for even the slightest breeze, in the pot it's presently in. When I'm re-potting I'll take a few more pics.

Anyway....picture:

Nice!
I'd probably just set it in a heavier cache pot for the time being

Thanks!

Yeah, got a bigger clay for this guy right now.
Some small pebbles in bottom (bout an 1 to 1.5 in) then new medium.

Got a new carport project started and this will be among the highlights.

New post about that project up shortly...

Looked this morning and 1 bud is starting to bust open.

I'm excited that I have it in my collection.
