You have probably found that your Paph glaucophyllum likes stable conditions year round and can be in growth in any season, one of the best choices for windowsill growing. In comparison, Paph haynaldianum tends to be more seasonal, preferring cooler slightly drier conditions in winter, with most growth occurring in spring. It also does best with slightly cooler conditions year round, about 5F cooler both day and night except in the peak growth season, and more likely to sulk if it doesn't cool off at night. Otherwise care is pretty similar.
