Flowers wilting on oncidium? Female
Default Flowers wilting on oncidium?

Is this normal? Just bought this two weeks ago. Should the flowers be wilting or am I doing something wrong? The plants leaves are nice and green, the pseudo bulbs are somewhat wrinkled and the plant is quite cramped in the pot. Any advice appreciated.

My best guess is the flowers are past prime. This happens lots with orchids purchased in bloom. You really have no way to determine how long the blossoms have been out. As long as the plant appears healthy, plump, leaves firm, etc. you are OK.
