Default cottonwood Bark

Thanks Ross for your opinion I will look for another type of bark. I may try one on the cottonwood just to see how it turns out and how long it takes to decompose.

Sheridan, just as a afterthought, you could attach the bark to something more substantial like the grids used in lighting (can get 4'x6' pieces at Home Depot). Looks like this in upper left of this picture The white grid is the structure. I have the Southern Live Oak wired to this grid. The whole structure is held up with a coat hanger cut and fitted to the grid structure. Hope this helps.

Default Cottonwood on Grid

That sounds like a good idea Ross. I think I will try that. Is that your orchid house? Those white grids on the bottom can you get those at the big box stores? I am getting an Orchidarium in about 2 weeks I'm ing with anticipation. These orchids have gotton under my skin so bad. But what fun

Thanks Sheridan
