I have a problem ordering from Amazon where I live. So I wonder if Plantworks Empathy All Purpose Seaweed stimulant have the same effect as KelpMax?

I can't answer your question directly, but I have found that hydroponics stores I've frequented have had some sort of alternative kelp extract that has worked well for me. Good luck!

Kelpmax is a cold pressed extract, and not all seaweed tonics are. Some are cooked out I'm told, and aren't so good.

KelpMax is produced by bursting the plants' cells in a vacuum. Even cold pressing has been shown to degrade some of the chemicals.

Vaccuum extracted? I had no idea.

I assumed it was cold pressed like the best quality olive oil.

I've used a few different seaweed products and all of them have had positive effects on root development. Go for a small amount and give it a try. I doubt it will hurt the plants.
